Each and every day is jam packed full of Structured Sports Sessions, Outdoor Adventurous Activities and Creative Challenges. These activity sessions are interspersed with Structured Free Play Time to keep young, developing minds captivated.
Expect a selection of; Dodgeball, Tennis, Basketball, Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Tag-Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, Rounders, Swedish Hand-Ball and Table Tennis as part of their staple diet of weekly coached sports.
Our Creative Team, led by Kim our Creative Arts Director has put together a programme of Arts & Craft activities to provide those children who enjoy being creative with something a little bit special. For the whole of the Easter Holidays the Art theme will be based around the Australian Jungle. Children should expect to be doing Aboriginal finger paintings, Jungle drawings, designing Boomerangs and Didgeridoos plus much more.
We love the outdoors and everyone who attends is actively encouraged to get outside and explore. The grounds at the sites we use are incredible so we try to take advantage of this as often as possible. In true I’m a Celebrity spirit we will be using the grounds (and the kid’s imaginations) for Tribal Tracking, Jungle Gym, Tribal Takeover, Den Building, Jungle Survival Skills, Capture the Flag, Camouflage Training Games, Orienteering, Map Reading, High 5 Hide & Seek (not like normal hide and seek!) Tree Attack and Moths and Caterpillars. They get messy, they get muddy and they’ll absolutely love it!!
Every holiday we also put together a programme of supplementary activities that many children new to camp may not have experienced before. If you use us regularly then you will know how exciting and popular these activities are. Using either bespoke, specialist equipment and/or specially trained staff to deliver these sessions, there is a small additional cost to participate, but the enjoyment and fulfilment the kids gain from these new experiences make them worth every penny!
The theme throughout the two weeks of Easter is ‘I’m a High 5 Camper, Get Me Out of Here!’ The children can expect a whole host of new, super fun games alongside all their favourite activities, as they work together to try and win stars for their tribes. The programme is going to be jam packed with (child friendly) Bush Tucker challenges, which will invite everyone to face their fears, battle with their bravery and generally challenge them to develop their self-confidence and belief in what they can achieve if they put their mind to it. Golden Stars, Dingo Dollars and Jungle Prizes will be up for grabs but rest assured, nobody will go hungry as they will have plenty of critter based snacks to try alongside their healthy packed lunches!
It’s going to be an Epic Easter so please do book early to avoid disappointment and also share the fun by telling your friends so their kids can come and enjoy the most exciting holiday camp around.
Here at High 5 we pride ourselves on being unique. So much time and energy goes into building programmes and creating environments that will help your children; challenge themselves, build their self confidence, develop new skills, face their fears and learn to believe in themselves more. Working both as part of a team and also off their own initiative are skills that can be learned through play from a very young age and we want to help support and fast-track this development. Most importantly they will have heaps of fun at our camps and create lasting friendships and memories (which we all know are simply, priceless.)
