Get back to nature; get outside, get active, get muddy, have fun!

Posted on: July 28th, 2017

Our sports and activity camps offer something for everyone. This summer we are focusing on the natural environment and exploring what is right outside your front door.

From identifying insects and plants, to Wild Cooking, invasion games like Capture the Flag and Tree Attack. We will get your children up and out there, running around and exploring whatever the weather.

We have High Ropes Tree Surfing (think go ape!) plus Outdoor Rock Climbing on Dartmoor, Caving and Surfing, Canoeing and Stand Up Paddleboarding as just some of our Additional Activity options.

We have come a long way since we were established back in 2010, and we work hard to ensure we are not like other holiday camp providers in the area. Our camps are organised and delivered by professional sports coaches, qualified teachers and outdoor pursuits instructors, meaning the quality of teaching and delivery is above and beyond what other providers can offer.

Plus we operate out of carefully chosen venues to ensure that our camps give the best possible experience to your children throughout the school holidays.

Come and join us this summer, your kids will thank you for it.

Our Favourite Quote and why we love it.

Everyone is a genius but if you tell a fish to climb a tree it will spend its life thinking it is useless.

We are all different, we all like different things, that’s what makes life interesting.

During the school holiday’s children need to be active, they need to have fun, they need to let off steam. So, what if they can do that in an environment that is not only safe, secure and naturally beautiful but also under the watchful eye of a carefully picked team of sports coaches and outdoor activity enthusiast who are all on hand to help them find something that really ignites an interest and a passion inside them.

That is why we are here. We assure you what we offer is not simply the same as all the others.

We have a special mission and we take our role very seriously.

If your kids spend time with us then we will find something that lights that fire within them. Come and join us and let us start to inspire them.

The Summer Holidays are almost upon us and we have put together the best possible program of activities to challenge, excite and entertain your children.

We have an important responsibility and we take it very seriously

Posted on: July 5th, 2017

Since 2010 our lives and our holiday camps have evolved. We realise we have an important responsibility and we take it very seriously.

Watching our own brood of young children grow, take their first steps and start to make their way into this big, crazy world, we have realised that we have a very special opportunity here at High 5.

We are on a very important mission, to help inspire the next generation to believe in themselves and to help them develop their confidence and abilities by introducing them to and then teaching them about a huge variety of different sports and activities.

Yes, we are Ofsted registered meaning we offer the very best in standards of care, but outside of this we are free to fill their school holidays with the most fun, exciting and interesting programmes. Bringing them action packed days full of opportunities which most schools just don’t have the time or accessibility to offer during the academic term.

We want to help your children to grow and learn about themselves, by offering them activities, sports and challenges that will translate to real, practical life skills helping to positively shape their futures.

It is such an exciting opportunity that we promise to work as hard as we can to help inspire, excite and enthuse your most precious gift and open their eyes to the incredible opportunities that this life can offer.
